The World LPG Forum is the premier annual global event for the LPG industry, annually bringing together CEO’s of major LPG companies, government ministers and senior representatives of major intergovernmental organisations and media to explore the LPG business around the globe, to discuss its growth potential and to forge new business relationships.
In November 2016, Emirates Gas has joined the membership of WLPGA Industry Council to be able to bid for the event; and in October 2017, WLPGA announced Dubai – UAE (ENOC Group), as the winner of the vote. ENOC, as official host of 33-th WLPGA week in Dubai, have received support from 14 other government departments that worked together on the winning bid that enhances the UAE’s global position in the energy sector. The bid was supported by Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Ministry of Energy, Dubai Civil Defense, Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, Roads & Transport Authority, Dubai Police and Dubai Airports, apart from local and regional oil and gas major companies.
